The plane was grounded after British officials say one of the crew members was allegedly beyond the legal alcohol consumption limit.
An aviation source told ABC News that it was one of the three pilots, but it is unclear if it was the captain or one of the first officers who is being investigated for performing an aviation function when over the prescribed limit of alcohol.
Passengers were rebooked on another flight. The pilot was released on bail.
The alcohol limit for pilots is about half the level for drivers.
