
Earlier this year, thirteen-year-old Sean made the decision to face his fear and come out to his mother, Betsy.
Betsy admits feeling guilty for never asking her son whom he really was, but continued to raise him as who she thought he was.
“When you’re born you’re conditioned -- if you’re a boy you’re supposed to like girls…when he came out and said he likes boys, I apologized to him for making that decision for him," she said.
