NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The body of the head chef of the Grand Central Terminal outpost of the famed Cipriani group of restaurants, who went missing and was last seen Monday, was found Wednesday night, the NYPD confirmed Thursday afternoon.
"EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene," police said. "The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing."
Sources tell 1010 WINS that police were canvassing the neighborhood when a naked woman came running out of the Kamway Lodge, and directed them to the room where the body was found, wrapped in a blanket. There were no visible signs of trauma.

Zamperoni, 33, was reported missing on Monday when he did not show up for work at Cipriani Dolci.
He was last seen Monday leaving his home in Elmhurst, Queens, around noon.
A native of Italy who recently moved to New York, Zamperoni reportedly has worked for the Cipriani chain since 2008.
