NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The body of a missing boy was recovered late Tuesday morning near Randall's Island after a four-day search.
Police said someone spotted a body and called police. The NYPD Harbor Unit responded and recovered the boy.
Police said the boy went into the Harlem River around 2:50 p.m. on Saturday.
WABC reported he was climbing a tree when he fell into the water.
Citizen App video shows rescue crews and other people gathered on the island during a search over the weekend.
