NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A teacher in the Bronx is accused of raping a student.

Matthew Pol, 28, allegedly met a 13-year-old girl after school, drove her to a secluded area, and raped her.
Pol has been reassigned from his position at Mott Hall Community School, and has been hospitalized at Jacobi Medical Center due to a reported suicide attempt.
It all took place a week ago, the girl says. Pol was charged on Thursday.
