NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A driver crashed his car into the lobby of Trump Plaza in Westchester Tuesday evening.
Around 8:30 a.m., a 2018 Mercedes Sedan, operated by a 63-year-old man from Larchmont failed to make a left turn and struck the front entrance of Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, coming to rest in the lobby, police say.
The driver and the concierge, a 41-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
The driver claimed to have "blacked out" according to officials, who say he suffered from a medical condition which contributed to the accident.
The 40-story Trump Plaza opened in 2007.
