PASSAIC, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Cops were involved in a deadly shooting in Passaic on Thursday night.

It happened on Harrison Street.
Authorities say, cops responded to reports of shots fired, chased some men, and fired on a suspect who allegedly had a gun.
The suspect was taken to St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic where he died. His name has not been released.
Cops say a gun was recovered.
