HARTFORD (1010 WINS) – Gov. Ned Lamont reported more than 400 new coronavirus cases in Connecticut on Sunday as the death toll neared 3,700.

Lamont said there were 446 new cases in the state over the past 24 hours. The total number of cases now stands at 40,468.
Another 18 people died in the state from coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 3,693.
On Saturday, the state reported 382 new cases and 38 more deaths.
The number of patients hospitalized in the state continued to decline. It dropped by 23 to 701 on Sunday, Lamont said.
Fairfield County continues to have the most cases and deaths in the state—15,114 and 1,215, respectively.
