25 new cases of coronavirus in Florida, statewide total now 70

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Florida's Department of Health announced early Saturday morning 25 new coronavirus cases in the state -- mostly in South Florida -- bringing its statewide total to 70.

"DOH has confirmed 25 new individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in Florida," read a tweet. "All are being cared for and isolated. One Orange County, FL resident tested positive for COVID-19 while traveling and has died in California.


Three people have died from the virus. 

Most of cases are in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Other counties represented among the new cases are Orange, Osceola, Manatee and Palm Beach.
