NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – New York City's coronavirus cases continued to climb Saturday, with the total nearing 195,000 as deaths topped 21,100.

Data released by the city shows 194,667 cases in the city as of Saturday.
There were 51,117 total hospitalizations over the course of the outbreak, data shows.
The number of cases on Friday was 192,840, with 50,770 hospitalizations.
The number of confirmed deaths was 16,403 and the number of "probable" deaths—those reported as COVID-19 or equivalent but not confirmed in a lab—were 4,735.
The combined death toll for the city stands at 21,138.
On Friday, there were 16,232 confirmed deaths and 4,771 "probable" deaths from the coronavirus, for a combined death toll of 21,003.
