NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The MTA's disinfecting UV lamps couldn't be coming at a better time for the straphangers who use Brooklyn's Flushing Avenue station, after a man and woman were captured on video having sex on the platform -- and the MTA did find humor in it.
The individual filming the couple is on the opposite platform, laughing and finding the whole thing humorous. It is unclear when the video was shot.
"This is New York City, you see everything, you hear! ... Yeah, I don't care, I don't mind that s***, that s*** is like PornHub to me," said the voyeur shooting the video, according to The New York Post.
The MTA also has a sense of humor, and took the opportunity to tout its enhanced cleaning strategy.
"We are proud the subways are as clean as they've ever been, but no need to try them out like these geniuses," MTA spokesman Tim Minton told the Post.
He added, "Glad we announced our ultraviolet disinfecting pilot yesterday because we are going to need it on this platform."
