NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- During his daily briefing on Tuesday, Mayor Bill de Blasio reported that the daily indicators show the city is on track to Phase 2 of reopening.
The mayor reported 52 COVID-19 hospitalizations.
There are currently 337 ICU patients.
Only one percent of those tested were positive.
De Blasio also announced that the city will expand its NYC Care Citywide to also serve Queens and Manhattan.
There will be 26 providers hired to ensure a new primary care appointment in two weeks.
The service is already available in Staten Island, Bronx, and Brooklyn.
The expansion is expected to reach about 44,000 in Queens and 10,000 in Manhattan and will cost approximately $37.5 million.
The city will also help residents deal with their mental health and coping with trauma.
From July to December, the city will help about 10,000 New Yorkers in the city's hardest-hit areas and work with 270 front-line community and faith-based organizations.
The city will also deliver one-hour virtual training on mental health disaster response and train staff to help communities cope
