NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A Manhattan mom is still searching for the engagement ring she lost somewhere in or around Central Park late last month—with her anniversary coming up Monday.
Erin Pasquet tells 1010 WINS she was at the Billy Johnson Playground on June 27 when she took the ring off to put sunscreen on her 15-month-old son.
She says she didn't realize until she got home that the ring had fallen out of her pocket.
"I'm so devastated, and now it's been just over a week," she said. "I lost my ring on Thursday, June 27, and the next day I was like, 'OK, there's still a shot. I might get it back.'"
"Now it's been a little longer. I'm not ready to give up, but it's getting a lot harder," she said.
Pasquet has been putting up posters and searching every inch of her path that day.
She's hoping to get the special piece of jewelry back before her anniversary on Monday.
