NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Spring-like temperatures led to more street closures in Manhattan on Monday.

Some streets remained closed following the ice that cascaded down from skyscrapers in midtown Manhattan on Sunday morning and prompted police to shutdown a number of streets.

On Monday, the pedestrian walkway on the George Washington Bride was closed due to ice falling.

Ice fell from buildings into Central Park as well, causing Central Park South and Broadway to close.

Among the closures: West 58th Street between Seventh Avenue and Broadway; West 57th Street at Sixth Avenue; West 42nd Street at Sixth Avenue.

On Wednesday a man was injured when falling ice hit him near West 58th Street and Seventh Avenue.

And on Tuesday an architect was killed when a piece of building debris fell on her near 49th Street and Seventh Avenue.
