NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Travelers arriving from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut no longer need to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in Florida, after Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a new executive order Thursday.
The quarantine rule has been in effect since March 23, when the tri-state area began to emerge as the pandemic's epicenter in the U.S.
The rule applied to travelers arriving via airplane.
Visitors from Florida to the tri-state, however, must quarantine for 14 days.
