One affects 1.3 million Explorer SUVs from the 2011 to 2017 model years.
The rear suspension toe link can break and limit steering control.
Ford says it is not aware of any injuries.
The other is for 123,000 2013 F-150 pickups for transmission problems.
The Explorer recall is expected to cost the company $180 million.
