NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A French bulldog jumped off a six-story Lower East Side building Friday night and miraculously emerged nearly unscathed.

Reddit user must_be_the_mangoes had been walking down Orchard Street at around 11 p.m., when they heard a smash and the sound of a woman shrieking.

After examining the surroundings, they realized the hubbub was coming from near a Dodge Charger, where the woman who had been shrieking explained the dog got loose, jumped off the building, and passed through the sunroof, landing largely unharmed in the car.

"The dog wasn't visibly bleeding but was quite shook up and salivating a lot," they noted.

Twitter user JolieKerr witnessed the fall as well.

Reddit user heiny_and_winst chimed in claiming to be the owner and explaining, "Winston was rushed to the nearest animal hospital immediately after falling 6 stories from our apartment building's roof. He has a cut on his hind leg that has been stitched, but miraculously did not break a single bone in his body."

They said the dog bolted up the stairs after being taken off his leash and the roof access door was open.
