NEW YORK (1010 WINS) --A mural in Brooklyn promoting "Good Resolutions" was defaced with a Hitler note.

Collive.com reports that pedestrians saw a girl and some others writing on the giant mural which is located right outside of the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights and has post-it notes used to encourage passersby to make a good resolution on how they would change the world.

Once she had left, passersby realized she had written "Hitler ic coming" on one of the notes on the mural but it was too late to catch her reports say.

"I am disgusted by the anti-Semitic message scrawled in front of the Jewish Children's Museum in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. We have zero tolerance for anti-Semitism, discrimination or hate of any kind in New York, and no person should ever feel threatened because of their religious beliefs." said Governor Cuomo about the incident.

The governor has now directed the state police hate crimes task force to assist in an investigation of the anti-Semitic note.

"To ensure those responsible for this heinous act are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law, I am directing the State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to immediately provide the NYPD with any resources needed to assist in the investigation of this incident. Now and always, there is no place for hate in our state." he said.Like 1010 WINS on Facebook and follow @1010WINS on Twitter to get breaking news, traffic, and weather for New York City.
