NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police seek to track down a group in connection to a jewelry store robbery that occurred in the Bronx on Monday.
Officials said the group of men and women entered Gold Cash Inc. located at 219 East 188th Street at about 9:30 p.m. and triggered the alarm system prompting employees to respond to the location immediately.
The suspects then began to assault the employees before taking $800,000 in jewelry and $5,000 in cash.
One victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. Three victims refused medical attention.
No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
