SOMERVILLE, N.J. (1010 WINS) --A four-alarm blaze tore through an apartment complex still under construction in New Jersey on Friday.
The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. at a new building in the Somerville Parc Apartment complex.
Massive flames and smoke could be seen billowing out the roof, which was decimated across the entire structure.
The damages to the new buildings were severe but a completed building in the same complex was evacuated as a precaution.
At one point, firefighters were forced to exit the building and battle the flames from the exterior only.
So far no injuries were reported.According to authorities, a police officer that happened to be passing by spotted the blaze and calling 911.
