NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — New tolls on MTA bridges and tunnels are now in effect.
Without EZ Pass, it will cost $9.50 to cross a river.

With EZ Pass, it will cost $6.12. That's an increase of 36 cents.
At the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, the EZ Pass toll will go up 72 cents to $12.24, with the non EZ Pass toll jumping from 17 to 19 dollars.
The base fare won't change, but Metrocard bonuses will disappear.
Express fare will be raised from $6.50 to $6.75.
Seven day passes will rise from $32 to $33 and 30-day passes from $121 to $127.
