NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Jersey City attackers David Anderson and Francine Graham may have kicked off their killing spree three days before they killed a police officer and 3 bystanders in a shootout Tuesday at a kosher market, New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said Wednesday.

Grewal described the pair -- believed to be a couple -- as the "prime suspects" in the death of a livery driver whose body was found with head injuries in the trunk of a Lincoln Town Car in Bayonne, New Jersey on Saturday. (Grewal described him as a driver for Uber, but the company said it has no record of him.)

The victims was identified as Michael Rumberger, 34, of Jersey City.

Grewal did not provide any further details about the link between the couple and Rumberger's death.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said police in Bayonne were responding to a report of possible criminal activity, when they found Rumberger with head injuries and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rumberger's daughter set up a GoFundMe page that is headlined, "Help me give my dad the proper burial."

She writes, "Unfortunately my dad was taken from me. Nobody wants to see somebody die. Nobody wants to see the man that gave them life, the man that taught them everything to this day die. I wish I had just a couple more minutes with my dad to tell him how I felt. Daddy, you taught me everything I needed to know. But Daddy I wish you could stay on this earth to guide me a little ways longer. I want you to walk me down the aisle as a bride. Be there for my high school graduation. See your grandchildren. I need you back Daddy."
