NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — New York Jets Chairman and CEO Christopher Johnson announced in a statement on Twitter that GM Mike Maccagnan has been relieved of his duties, effectively immediately.
Johnson said him made the decision in the "best long-term interest of the New York Jets" and said the search for a replacement would start immediately.
He said Coach Adam Case would take on GM duties in the interim.
