NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Authorities are searching for a driver they say fled after crashing into an SUV in the Bronx and sending it into a ditch.
According to police, the driver of a Lexus caused the collision that occurred near the Orchard Beach exit on the Hutchinson River Parkway and then fled.
After managing to escape his damaged vehicle, officials say the victim was driven to a nearby hospital by a driver in a passing car that stopped.
The victim is expected to make a full recovery, police say.
