NJ man held woman at his home against her will, sexually assaulted her: prosecutors

LODI, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A New Jersey man has been arrested and charged with holding a woman at his home against her will and sexually assaulting her, prosecutors said Tuesday. 

Police in Lodi received a 911 call on Monday from a woman who said James McArow, 25, had held her in his home against her will and physically and sexually assaulted her, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday. 

When officers arrived at McArow’s home in Lodi, they found the woman hiding in his yard, according to prosecutors. 

McArow was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, criminal restraint and simple assault soon after, prosecutors said. 

He is being held at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack and was expected to appear in court on Tuesday afternoon. 

His attorney information wasn’t immediately available Tuesday.
