NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Straphangers may be jaded to subway delays, but not when it comes to man's best friend.

A dog running along the tracks brought train traffic to a stop on the Williamsburg Bridge on Wednesday night.

The dog was spotted just before 10 p.m. and MTA workers immediately cut the power to keep the dog from getting electrocuted.

Both a J and an M train were on the tracks at the time and passengers were tweeting their complaints about the delay.

One passenger said he saw a cop lure the dog with a bowl of pork fried rice.

Trains were moving again by 11 and the pooch was taken to a shelter to help find its owner.
