NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a stabbing that occurred inside a West Village parking garage earlier this week.
Officials on Wednesday released surveillance footage of the incident that occurred on August 24, at approximately 3;23 p.m., inside of 222 West 14th Street.
A 52-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the neck and chest by the suspect after engaging in a verbal dispute, according to authorities.
He is attacked on the ground and then again when he stands up and attempts to strike the attacker.
Another man is seen in the video moving the victim away and separate them.
The suspect, seen wearing a black dress and a pink bandana fled on foot, westbound on 14th Street toward 5th Avenue, police said.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals Bellevue in stable condition.
Authorities describe the suspect is 20-30 years old, 5'11" tall, 200 lbs.
