
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed a 66-year-old man on the subway in Brooklyn on Friday.According to officials, the victim was stabbed on the northbound A train at approximately 12:15 p.m. at the Broadway Junction station.
Police said the victim had been selling newspapers on the A train, was stabbed in the back after a confrontation.The suspect fled the scene but is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and a purple hat with an orange line.The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center where he in stable condition.There's no word as to what may have lead to the stabbing.
