Man accused of randomly stabbing woman in Brooklyn sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials released a video Friday of a man accused of random stabbing a woman in Brooklyn. 

On Feb. 5, just before 7 a.m., police say a 34-year-old woman was attacked while walking to her car in front of 8303 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge.

The suspect approached the victim and without any conversation or prior interaction he used a sharp object to stab her in the abdomen, according to authorities.

Officials say the suspect fled eastbound on 83rd Street and the victim walked into NYU Langone Hospital- Brooklyn to be treated for puncture wound.

She remains in stable condition.
