NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is asking for help in catching a burglar who stole about $2,000 from a Bensonhurst synagogue.

Surveillance cameras caught the man breaking into a side window at Yeshiva Ohel Torah Synagogue on Sunday night.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'7", weighing 190 lbs with a medium complexion, stocky build, and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark colored short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and blue sneakers.
