Man flees after snatching officer's ticketing device in Queens, suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man they said snatched an NYPD traffic agent's ticketing device over the weekend in Queens.

Authorities released surveillance footage of the suspect on Wednesday morning. 

On Feb. 29,  at approximately 10:05 a.m., a 37-year-old NYPD Traffic Agent was in the process of issuing a summons to a vehicle at the corner of Liberty Avenue and 121st Street, in the South Richmond Hill section when officials say the suspect snatched the agent’s ticket and ran off.

The suspect fled eastbound on Liberty Avenue in a white Kia sedan, according to officials.

Police say the device has an approximate value of $2500.
