NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a serial groper who they say attacked seven women in Brooklyn—six in less than an hour and a half.
The NYPD released video of the man wanted for questioning on Saturday.
Police said the man groped six women on Thursday between 9:55 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. They believe another woman was groped by him on May 1.
The women range in age from 21 to 40 years old. All of them were attacked as they walked on the street.
Police said the man lifted a 23-year-old woman's skirt and grabbed her buttocks near Flushing and Nostrand avenues at the border of Clinton Hill and Williamsburg shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday.
He then grabbed a 21-year-old woman's private parts over her clothing on Myrtle Avenue less than a half hour later, police said.
Just minutes after that, he threw a 26-year-old woman to the ground on Spencer Street and pressed her face against his private parts, police said.
Minutes after that, a 34-year-old woman who was walking on Myrtle Avenue was grabbed from behind by the man, who touched her private parts, police said.
Fifteen minutes later, a 30-year-old woman walking her dog on Vernon Avenue was attacked by the man; police said he put her in a bear hug from behind and thrust his body against hers before taking off on Myrtle Avenue.
Then at 11:15 a.m., police said the man put his arms around a woman's neck and shoulders on Pulaski Street and pressed himself against her and tried to touch her private parts. She screamed and the man took off.
In the May 1 incident, a 40-year-old woman was walking near Fort Greene place and Dekalb Avenue at 8 a.m. when the man came up from behind her and grabbed her buttocks.
None of the women suffered serious physical injuries, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
