NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man is in serious condition after being shot Monday afternoon at a McDonald's drive-thru in Brooklyn, the NYPD tells 1010 WINS.
A person walked up to the car and shot the man, 27, who was seated on the passenger side, through the window.
The shooting took place around 4 p.m. in Brooklyn's Cypress Hill neighborhood.
The victim, transported to Brookdale Hospital, was shot in the torso and arm.
The gunman fled the scene following the shooting.
The circumstances of the shooting are unknown and are being investigated.
