Man seriously injured in stabbing on the Lower East Side

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating a stabbing that left a man seriously injured on the Lower East Side Monday night.

Officials say the victim, who is in his 20s, was stabbed near the corner of Delancey and Essex streets just before midnight during a dispute with an unknown person.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is listed in serious condition, authorities said.

An investigation remains ongoing.

No arrests have been made so far.
