NEW YORK (WINS 1010) — Mayor Bill de Blasio is headed to Iowa this weekend as he continues to consider the possibility of a 2020 presidential bid.
De Blasio is not ready to commit one way or the other: "When I have something to say on that topic, I will. As I've told you, I haven't ruled it out."
Candidates participating in the Wednesday night debate for the open public advocate position were not in favor of a de Blasio campaign.
Queens Assemblyman Ron Kim called de Blasio "delusional."

De Blasio, at an unrelated news conference, faced down his doubters, saying: "Every day I have New Yorkers come up and talk about different things the administration is doing that they like and plenty of people who urge me on for the future."
