NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A missing 14-year-old Bronx girl has been found with a 35-year-old registered sex offender, police say.
Police sources told NBC 4 that the girl left her home on Bussing Avenue Thursday evening after her mother reportedly found content on her table that indicated she had a sexual relationship with 35-year-old Anthony Ferdinand.
Police said the two were located Saturday. NBC 4 reported they were found in Herald Square around 10:15 a.m.
Ferdinand was arrested in 2003 for the rape of a mentally disabled 19-year-old girl and then again in 2006 for forgery.
He was arrested a third time for failure to register as a sex offender.
He is a registered level-two sex offender with a last known address in Cypress Hills, according to state records.
