NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Drita D’Avanzo, known for her role in the reality show “Mob Wives,” was reportedly arrested along with her husband on weapons and drug charges during an NYPD raid at their home on Staten Island Thursday night.
A search of the home on Woodvale Avenue in Pleasant Plains turned up two loaded firearms and a rainbow of drugs, including painkillers, anti-anxiety meds and a large amount of marijuana, police said. A scale was also allegedly recovered during the raid.
The NYPD tells 1010 WINS that 43-year-old D’Avanzo and her 50-year-old husband were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
