
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man is in custody after barricading himself inside an apartment building in Brooklyn on Friday morning.
The man, identified by law enforcement sources as Wilbert Bryant, was being pursued by the FBI in connection with a murder in Queens two years ago.
*On Oct. 23, 2017, well-dressed men surprised a man at his Ozone Park business and shot him and pistol-whipped his son allegedly over money owed, 1010 WINS' Sonia Rincon reported.
Bryant was arrested at the apartment on Maple Street in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.
Bryant has been released from the hospital and will be arraigned in Brooklyn Federal Court sometime after 2:30 p.m.
If he is found guilty in the Ozone Park case, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a minimum of 10 years.
