NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Nassau County has fined a business for selling masks they claimed were N95-certified -- and at an inflated price well above what an N95-certified mask would cost.According to Nassau County officials, the business in Plainview, was selling the masks out of a warehouse located on Old Country Road."If you are buying this or using this, if you are a healthcare worker or a grocery store worker and you are depending on this for your health and your safety, you need to know that it is a legit product," Nassau County Executive Laura Curran said.

On Tuesday, Curran reported Nassau County's largest jump in new cases and coronavirus related deaths.

Curran said that 8,544 people have tested positive for the virus and the death toll climbed by 15 to 63.
The 11 men and four women who died were between 33 and 97 years old, Curran said.
Currently, there are 80 police officers in the county with the virus including Nassau County and village officers, Curran added. Also, an additional 147 officers are in quarantine.
