Below are key dates for the Knicks, Yankees and Mets:
NEW YORK KNICKS
--Opening Day: The Knicks will open their season in San Antonio, playing the Spurs, on Oct. 23 at 8:30 p.m.
--Kristaps Porzingis: He's back!: The former Knicks player will return to MSG -- but part of the Dallas Mavericks -- on Nov. 14. That's just his return to MSG, though: The Kicks will play against the Mavericks in Dallas on Nov. 8.
--Knicks vs. Nets: The Knicks will play against their Brooklyn counterparts on Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Barclays Center. The teams will play against each other again on Nov. 24 at MSG, Dec. 26 at Barclays and Jan. 26 at MSG.
--Bring, it LeBron!: The Knicks' first game against the Los Angeles Lakers will be Jan. 7 in L.A.
NEW YORK METS
--Opening Day: The Mets will host the Washington Nationals on March 26 at Citi Field ... the Major League Baseball's earliest starting date ever.
--Bring it, LA!: The Mets will play the Los Angeles Dodgers, who have the National League's best record, from May 29 to May 31.
--Happy Birthday, USA: The Nets will play the San Diego Padres on the Fourth of July.
--Subway Series!: The Mets will play the Yankees July 7-8 at Yankee Stadium, and then July 28-29 at Citi Field
NEW YORK YANKEES
--Opening Day: The Bronx Bombers will open the season March 26 in Baltimore against the Orioles.
--O Canada: The home opener will be April 2 against the Toronto Blue Jays
--Bring it, BoSox: The Red Socks will first play the Yankees at Yankee Stadium May 8-10
--The grand finale: The Yankees will end the season with seven straight home games against the Houston Astros and Tampa Bay Rays, two teams that are currently in position to make the playoffs.
