JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Four planes will fly over parts of New Jersey on Tuesday as part of a two-hour salute to honor frontline workers, the state’s National Guard said.

A KC-135R Stratotanker and three F-16 Fighting Falcons will take off at 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12 and fly for two hours, the New Jersey National Guard said on social media.
The aircrafts will pass over “key COVID-19 locations” across the state, including Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, University Hospital and Veteran’s Haven North.
The National Guard posted the flight route and a full list of route locations on Twitter.
“The NJ National Guard has been in the fight against COVID-19 from the very beginning with our state and federal partners to save lives and relieve suffering,” Brig. Gen. Jemal Beale, Commander of the New Jersey National Guard and Commissioner of the state’s Department of Military and Veteran Affairs said in a statement.
“Never underestimate the value of a morale boost when in combat,” he added.
