TRENTON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- New Jersey reported 10 new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday after adding one new state to its travel advisory, Gov. Phil Murphy said.

The Garden State joined New York and Connecticut in adding Colorado to its list of COVID-19 hotspots from which travelers must quarantine for 14 days, Murphy said. The three states removed Arizona and Virginia from the list.

The 10 new fatalities New Jersey reported brought the state’s death toll to 14,326, the governor said. New Jersey also reported 505 new COVID-19 cases, bringing its cumulative total to 204,563.

As of Monday, 443 people in the state were hospitalized with confirmed or probable COVID-19 cases, 101 of whom were in intensive care and 34 of whom were on ventilators, the state’s COVID-19 tracker shows.
