NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two women had to travel halfway across the country to get answers about problems in NYCHA housing.
Concepcion and another New Yorker reportedly flew on behalf of the East Brooklyn Congregation, a group of not-for-profit organizations that includes religiosu congregations, schools, homeowner, and voluntary associations representing families in East New York, Brownsville, Ocean Hill, and Bushwick.
“We have been in New York; we have been trying to speak with him,” Concepcion said. “All we get are stories from him. He doesn’t listen. He dodges us whenever possible.”
De Blasio listened and promised to stay in dialogue, Politico reported.
