
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A house exploded in Brooklyn on Monday.
Video from the scene showed smoke billowing from the home located at East 8th Street in Kensington.
A man was cleaning up paint with gasoline in the basement when the explosion happened.
He was seriously injured with burns on his face and legs.
Three other people were also hurt, including two neighbors were injured by falling debris from the blast.
None of the injuries are considered life threatening.
Officials warned people to avoid the area because of the large emergency response and traffic backups.
