NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Firefighters in Paterson, NJ had to pry open a clothing donation bin on Monday morning to free a woman who had been trapped there since Friday night.
According to the South Passaic Daily Voice, the 38-year-old woman said she was reaching into the bin when she fell in. She was released after someone heard her screaming on Monday morning and called 911.
Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale told the Daily Voice that her story is unlikely. The paper reports that the woman, who appears to be homeless, has been rescued from clothing bins three times in the past two years.
The woman was taken to the hospital and reportedly suffered from frostbite.
