ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A 30-year-old man from New York fell to his death in the lobby of an Atlantic City casino early Monday, according to police.
The man from Rochester was attempting to climb over a divider when he fell from the second level to the lobby at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino shortly after 4 a.m., police spokesman Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Upon arrival responding officers found security personnel performing CPR on the man, Fair added, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
"We are deeply saddened regarding the incident that occurred last night and want to express our sincere condolences to the family of the individual," the hotel and casino said in a statement.
