NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer on Tuesday announced his plans to run for city mayor once Mayor Bill de Blasio's second term comes to an end in 2022.
"The measure of our success will be whether we finally build a city for everyone", Stringer said.
The news was announced the same day that NYC Sanitation Commissioner Kathryn Garcia resigned, amid rumors that she will also announce she plans to run for mayor as well.
