NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The New York City Department of Education has released its calendar for the upcoming school year.
The new calendar officially confirms Monday, Sept. 21 as the first full day of school for students in the five boroughs.
Sept. 16 through Sept. 18 will be "fully remote partial school days," the calendar shows.
Mayor Bill de Blasio at the beginning of the month announced that the city would delay the start of school for 10 days, until Sept. 21.
