NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Brooklyn man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his wife to death in France and dismembered her body, according to reports.
Police found 52-year-old Laure Bardina-Kruger’s remains inside a storm drain in the French village of Peyriac-de-Mer on Friday, the New York Post reported, citing a French news outlet.
Her husband, Billy Kruger, was arrested several hours later, just before he boarded an Indonesia-bound flight out of France, according to the outlet.
The couple had a home in the south of France, not far from where police found Bardina-Kruger’s remains, the outlet reported. Bardina-Kruger worked as a teacher in Jakarta, Indonesia, the outlet reported.
Kruger reportedly admitted to stabbing Bardina-Kruger twice, but claimed it was in self-defense.
