NEW YORK (AP) -- Police say a New York City taxi driver is dead after he suffered a medical episode and crashed into a pole.Police say 62-year-old Ilya Sukholinskyv crashed his yellow taxi into a light pole on Kings Highway in Brooklyn at about 11 p.m. Sunday.He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.No pedestrians or other vehicles were hit.It's not known if the cabbie died from the apparent medical episode or from the crash. Police are investigating.
